For nearby restaurants, cafés, bars, wineries and other hospitality businesses, Day Sparks can accept gift cards, house credit or merchandise in place of some — and sometimes all — of the cash price.
You have something people want. So do we.
Marketing is useful. Spending cash on marketing is not always particularly fun. So for local businesses, we're open to trading some of our work for some of yours.
Please do not surprise us with 300 branded koozies. Agreement first.

Why is the trade amount a little higher?
Cash can pay any bill tomorrow. Restaurant credit and merchandise get used over time, so the trade value is a little higher than the cash price. We'll always show you both numbers before you decide anything.

This is mainly for restaurants, cafés, bars, breweries, wineries, hotels, food businesses and other hospitality businesses in Southern Oregon.
If you're nearby and make or sell something else interesting, ask anyway. The worst thing we'll say is, “Probably not the right trade for us.”
Yes, cash still works.
No. Photography can sometimes be fully traded. Larger projects are usually a mix of cash and trade.
No. We prefer credit or gift cards that can be used over time. We agree on the terms before the project begins.
Possibly. Tell us what you have in mind. We only agree to merchandise we can realistically use or enjoy.
No. Same project, same standards, same finished work. Only the payment mix changes.
Of course. The trade option is there to make things more flexible, not more complicated.

Day Sparks is a small studio. Kile builds websites and brands. Alli takes the photos. We like working with independent local businesses, and this is one way we can make good creative work a little easier to say yes to.
Also, restaurants happen to make considerably more useful things than most creative studios do.
